We are a Non Profit Organization

 It’s official–the Atitlan Alliance is now a non-profit! We are delighted to announce that the IRS awarded us non-profit status in 2022 after a very short application process. This means that future donations to our project can be tax-deductible. Our working group (Delores Nims, Bill and Laura Emery, Ellen Craine, Spencer Neyland and Rea Thomson) has now become a non-profit Board of Directors. For future contributions, checks should be made out to The Atitlan Alliance and mailed to 1467 Siskyou Blvd #348, Ashland, OR 97520. In order to facilitate our bookkeeping and to ensure that your donation is tax-deductible, please do not send money directly to our bank account in Guatemala.
